Biography

Sibel A. Ozkan is Full Professor of Faculty of Pharmacy at Ankara University. She has over 30 years’ experience in analytical chemistry. She received her PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry, from Pharmacy Faculty of Ankara University in 1994. She studied in Prof. Dr. Jean-Michel Kauffmann’s Laboratory at ULB in Belgium as visiting researcher after PhD. She has authored over 332 peer-reviewed papers (ISI) in her field, given over 22 invited lectures and 25 conference communications, and has published 7 books with 1 in press as well as 46 book chapters. She has over 5853 citations (without self-citations), h-index: 41. She is the Editor of “Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis” (Elsevier) and Regional Editor (Europa) of “Current Pharmaceutical Analyses” (Bentham).

Bengi Uslu is currently a full Professor in Ankara University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Analytical Chemistry, in Turkey. Her postdoctoral research, sponsored by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, was conducted with Prof. Emil Palecek at Institute of Biophysics, Lab of Biophysical Chemistry and Molecular Oncology in Czech Republic. She has authored or co-authored more than 150 peer-reviewed full papers and more than 170 oral or poster presentations in scientific conferences. She has more than 30 book chapters and took part in the translation of many books into Turkish. She has more than 3000 citations of research papers with an h-index of 32.

Mustafa Kemal Sezgintürk is Professor of Biochemistry in Department of Chemistry at the University of Namık Kemal in Tekirdağ. Dr. Sezgintürk received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Ege University in 1998. He received his master (2002) and doctorate (2007) degrees in Biochemistry from Ege University. He is co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed papers with an h-index of 29.
